At the March General Membership Meeting, the body unanimously voted to endorse
Dr. Amy Acton for Governor of Ohio in the upcoming 2026 election.
Dr. Acton stands for Ohio Workers and Union workers, as she is quoted as stating:
"Unlike my opponent, I’m not afraid to say the word Union.
Local President Nigel Saleem was seen on WKYC speaking about the importance that Mail-In Voting has to our customers and how we must protect it during these upcoming and future elections!
