At the March General Membership Meeting, the body unanimously voted to endorse

Dr. Amy Acton for Governor of Ohio in the upcoming 2026 election. 

Dr. Acton stands for Ohio Workers and Union workers, as she is quoted as stating:

"Unlike my opponent, I’m not afraid to say the word Union. I grew up in a union town, I live in a union household, and I will always have the backs of union workers."
